Mini Program Free Trial

The MSN Mini program is a natural dovetail to the Mat-Su Ski Club's Junior Nordics program. So if your young ones have enjoyed Junior Nordics for a couple years and are looking to join a group for fun and active kids throughout the year, this is the perfect place for them!  Dryland activities (Summer and Fall) are on foot with a mix of adventure runs and hikes, skate rollerskiing (rollerskis for rent), and games.  In Winter, we ski both classic and skate techniques throughout the Winter season.  Locations are usually at GPRA but sometimes in Hatcher Pass when snow is thin.

Year-Round and Seasonal Programs

The program year is divided into Summer, Fall, and Winter Preseason and Winter seasonal terms.  A year-round membership is offered at a discounted rate per session.

Free Week Trials are available.  Select the 'Free Trial' option in the drop-down to come check out the program and see if it's a good fit.  If you're not sure when you'd like to try out the program, sign up for the free trial to get on the mailing list and receive regular Junior program emails with upcoming schedules and plans.

Season Options

• Summer - $295

  • May 28th to August 16th (11 weeks)

    • Mondays & Wednesdays, 8:30-9:45 AM

      • Occasionally longer with notice

    • *No Sessions week of July 4th Holiday

• Fall - $250

  • August 18th to November 2nd (10 weeks)

    • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00 - 6:15 PM

    • Sessions adjusted appropriately around Elementary XC running

• Winter Preseason - $225

  • November 3rd, 2025 - January 1st, 2026 (concludes before Junior Nordic starts)

  • 8 weeks

    • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00 - 6:15 PM (except Holidays)

      • Possible shift to Monday or Friday to avoid congested Junior Nordic practices

    • Besh Cup race support if interested (no pressure)

• Winter - $325

  • January 4th, 2026 - March 26th, 2026 

  • 13 weeks

    • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00 - 6:15 PM

    • Besh Cup race support

• Year Round - $895 (Best Deal!)

  • April 28, 2025 to March 26th, 2026

  • 42 weeks (Summer, Fall, Winter Preseason, and Winter)

  • Semi-annual payment plan is available.  2nd half-payment due Oct 1, 2025.

• Be sure to support the Mat-Su Ski Club by being a MSSC member!  Except for the Free 1-week trial, a current family MSSC Membership is required to participate in the youth programs (Mini, Devo, Junior); Individual or Family membership is required for the Masters.
