Junior Nordics Finisher Race Series
2026 Dates and Info:
A THREE-RACE SERIES ON SUNDAY AFTERNOONS AT GPRA.
We are so excited to host our 4th Annual “Finisher Race Series”! This race series was developed to introduce Nordic ski racing as a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. The emphasis will be on finishing, completing the course, and building self-esteem along the way. These races are free for all Junior Nordics participants and families.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to race start for registration. Same day registration. Registration is free.
RACE #1: Sunday, January 25th at 2:00 Pm – 1K, 2.5K Classic
The season opener is this Sunday and you don’t want to miss it! Come cheer on your favorite skier at the finish line!
We will need plenty of race-day support. If you can VOLUNTEER, please check-in at noon at the “SHEDQUARTERS” (club shed in Northwest corner of the upper parking lot) for an assignment!

*This will be a classic technique race with three separate groupings, Polar Cubs and Otters modified 1k, all others 2.5k
All times are approximate, races will start consecutively
2:10- Wolves, Grizzlies, and Comp. skiers
2:15- Fox & Yeti
2:20-Polar Cubs & Otters
RACE #2 Sunday, February 8th at 2 Pm – 1K Or 2.5K- Freestyle Or Classic
