Jytte Beanie Care Guide

• Material: Jytte beanies are made from 100% merino wool with fleece lining.

• Washing:

  • Hand washing is recommended:

    • Use cold water (no warmer than 30ºC/86ºF).

    • Use a small amount of mild laundry detergent, preferably one specifically for wool.

    • Soak the beanie for about 5 minutes, swirling it around gently. Avoid scrubbing, wringing, or twisting.

    • If stained, gently massage the spot or soak for longer.

    • Rinse thoroughly with clean, cool water until the water is clear. Avoid rinsing under running water for delicate materials.

  • Machine washing (if allowed):

    • Check the tag for specific instructions.

    • Turn the beanie inside out if it has stitching or decals.

    • Place it in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase to prevent stretching.

    • Use a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water.

    • Use a mild or wool-specific detergent.

• Drying:

  • Air dry only: Lay the beanie flat on a dry towel or drying rack. Reshape it as needed.

  • Avoid:

    • Using a dryer, as heat can cause shrinkage and damage.

    • Wringing or twisting, which can alter the shape.

    • Direct sunlight or heat sources.
